After admiring the incredible 3rd-century walls, you'll be guided around the National Archaeological Museum. Housed in the cloisters of San Domenico convent, the museum is the most important collection of its kind in Central Italy. After a morning of exploring Perugia, enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional osteria, where you can sample the local cuisine and Umbrian wines.
The day will then take you to the renowned Perugina chocolate factory, “Casa del Cioccolato Perugina”, just a few kilometres from the centre of Perugia. Delve into the history behind this iconic chocolate including the famous Baci Perugina, within the museum. Cap off the experience with a tasting of assorted Perugina chocolates.
If you aren’t quite ready for the experience to be over, you can also opt to add a 90-minute cooking class at the famous Scuola del Cioccolato. Each cooking class is centred around the sumptuous Perugina chocolates, including the opportunity to make your own sweet creation.

Spend three hours exploring Perugia by foot with an experienced local guide, followed by a 1-hour lunch at a local trattoria. After lunch, enjoy a 2.5-hour tour of Perugina Chocolate Factory, before being picked up by your driver. For an extra culinary experience, you have the option to include a 90-minute cooking class at the renowned Scuola del Cioccolato.
