Chianti Wine Tour & Tasting at Colle Bereto

While the estate cellars are still in their original historic location, with lofty vaulted brick ceilings, winemaking at Colle Bereto is anything but historic. When you opt for the Chianti Wine Tour & Tasting experience at Colle Bereto, you will be guided by one of the estate’s wine specialists through the innovative gravity-flow vinification process, clarification and ageing. 

Following a tour of the wine cellar, visit the vineyards and experience the grape vines up close. Then return to the vine-clad pergola for an intimate al fresco wine tasting and drink in the natural tranquillity and captivating views over Radda in Chianti. 

Alongside famous wines like Chianti Classico, Colle Bereto produces a range of niche labels: from the full-bodied white, Albo; and the sparkling Brut rosé, Colle B; to the Super-Tuscan, 100% Sangiovese Merlot, Il Tocco; and the elegant 100% Pinot Noir, Il Cenno. During the wine tasting, you will be invited to savour all 9 Colle Bereto wines. These are served with an antipasti platter, featuring Bruschetta with extra-virgin olive oil and fresh vegetables — all grown and produced on the estate — as well as cured meats and cheese from a local Chianti supplier.

The Colle Bereto Wine Tour & Tasting experience is approximately 2 hours long with a flexible start time during opening hours. The experience will begin with a tour of the wine cellar, followed by an intimate look at the vineyards. The experience will conclude with a tasting of all of the Colle Bereto wines and light antipasto prepared from local produce.
