Savour niche Tuscan wines

This private in-villa wine tasting will be led by Fabrizio who has hand-picked five niche Tuscan white and red wines from across the region. Embark on an intimate journey from San Gimignano and Grosseto to the iconic wine regions of Chianti and Montepulciano with an expert sommelier, all from your private villa in Italy. Fabrizio will deepen your understanding of each wine as he reveals the stories behind their production, from the harvesting of the grapes to their bottling and ageing. It is also an irresistible way to get acquainted with some of Tuscany’s best wineries from the perspective of a wine expert. 

This selection of Tuscan wines will not only showcase the diverse flavours and aromas the region has to offer, but it will also introduce you to more affordable, everyday wines without compromising on quality or taste. Each tasting is accompanied by a fine selection of Tuscan cold cuts, cheese and bread that best compliments the flavour profiles of the wines you will be sampling.

• Vernaccia Macinatico — A well-balanced Tuscan white wine from the vineyards surrounding San Gimignano.
• Vermentino Bordocheo — A fresh Tuscan white wine from the rich wine-growing hills surrounding Lucca. 
• Chianti Colle de’ Fossili Piccaratico — A delicious Sangiovese red wine from the iconic Chianti hills. 
• Pomerio Marina Romin — A modern red wine produced on a small organic wine estate in Pisa’s prime wine territory, Terricciola.   
• Chianti Classico Castagnoli —  A 100% Sangiovese wine, carefully blended from different crus of this winery in Castellina in Chianti.

The private wine tasting is an hour-long experience that can be adapted to any time the client prefers. Fabrizio Fiaschi, the sommelier will host the wine tasting at your private villa in Italy with the support of his partner, Lirio Mangalaviti.
