Horseback riding tour and farm-to-table lunch/dinner at the Monte Chiaro Winery 

Open to all levels and abilities, this intimate horseback riding experience can be adapted to complete novices as well as experienced equestrians. Whether you prefer a gentle meander or an exhilarating canter, you can set the pace of your horseback riding experience. The one-hour tour will begin at the Scuderia Mellissa Cipriani, a centre for breeding and training race horses, with over 30 hectares of paddocks in Castelnuovo Berardenga. The stables are home to a renowned horse breeder with over 40 years of experience in the world of international horse racing.  

Once you arrive at the Monte Chiaro estate, explore untraversed trails between the organic grape vines with Melissa and her team and uncover the history of the estate. This organic winery has been in the Griccioli family since the 1760s, commanding breathtaking views over Siena and the surrounding rolling vineyards and olive groves.

Following your vineyard trail ride, enjoy an exclusive three-course lunch or dinner, created to match the estate’s organic Chianti Colli Senesi wines. This completely bespoke experience revolves around the seasonal produce sourced from local suppliers and the estate’s organic vegetable garden, so no two menus are ever the same!

Enjoy a one-hour horseback riding tour through the organic Monte Chiaro wine estate near Siena followed by a three-course meal accompanied by four of the estate’s Chianti wines. You can opt for a morning or afternoon/evening experience, starting at 8.00am or 6.00pm in the summer months/ 10.00am or 3.00pm in winter.
