The nearest small grocery shop and bar are just a short drive away in the small village of Casal di Pari, 5km/3 miles. A broader choice of larger supermarkets in Paganico (COOP and Hurra'), within a 20 minutes drive, which also has a local weekly market. There is an array of choices for eating out within 15 to 30 minutes drive, with some restaurant recommendation of the house owner for meat and fish lovers. Nearby cities and places of interests: Siena within 40 minutes drive, San Galgano Abbey, 40 minutes, Sant’Antimo Abbey, 40 minutes, Roman ruins of Roselle, 25 minutes, Montalcino, 45 minutes, Brunello di Montalcino wineries within 30 minutes (VIlla Banfi, Argiano, Castelgiocondo, etc.). The house manager can organize private tours and tasting in one of the wineries. The beaches of Marina di Grosseto are less than 1-hour drive from Belsguardo; within 50 minutes drive you will reach the glorious nature reserve of the Monti dell’ Uccellina and the chic beaches and towns of the Monte Argentario peninsula are just 1.15 minutes drive.

Motorway/Superstrada exit: From Motorway exit Val di Chiana (coming from South) or Firenze Impruneta (if coming from North), continuing towards Siena then Grosseto. Exit at Casal di Pari (at Km 34 of state road E78/SS223).
From the main paved road, 600 mt of white gravelled road to the property. Automated gate and 4 covered and 10 uncovered car parking spaces.-
By Train:
Railway station: Monte Antico at about 7.5km/4.6 miles. Bus stop: 6 Km/ 3.7 miles from the house, connections to Grosseto, Siena and Florence.

The villa, staff, services, food, scenery – everything was AMAZING. Our 50th wedding anniversary couldn’t have been more spectacular. What can I say about our magical 7 days in Tuscany? After 18 hours of travel, an amazing staff made sure we had everything we needed. Plus, views of the Tuscan countryside that is one postcard after another. The meals, services and accommodations were second to none. We are truly sad to be leaving, but we will be back again. This was definitely one summer vacation I’ll never forget! My family and I had an amazing time! Whether it was the pool, amazing views, beautiful and antique decor, and so much more, I could never decide what’s best! But most importantly, lots of fun and cheerful memories were made. The house was beautiful and our caretakers Surangi and Amande were extremely kind, sincere, and of course helpful. Lots of love, fun, laughter and hugs made this an amazing house! The view really was amazing and getting to view the Tuscan countryside was really a dream come true. This summer was definitely one to remember and will always be stored in my heart! I’ve been waiting to return to Tuscany for years. I could not have chosen a better place. The house is comfortable and welcoming. Incredible views and very nice pool. The gardens are amazing. What a wonderful place, we’ve had a wonderful time celebrating Adam’s 40th birthday. The staff couldn’t do enough to help – nothing was too much trouble. An amazing and wonderful stay with the family and friends. Suranji and Anand were strong stalwarts who took care of any cares we may have had. And Olivia and Nicola team for dinner and Gigliola for breakfast and lunch made sure we never went hungry but enjoyed an amazing meal every day. We absolutely loved Villa Belsguardo. Our first trip since Covid was everything we hoped it would be. We hailed from Seattle, San Francisco and Hailey, ID, and had so much fun getting here with cancelled flights and lost baggage on the way. Belsguardo erased all those bad memories!! It was the perfect place to reunite with our family, post-covid and celebrate some very special birthdays. This is our first gathering since Covid and this amazing villa has surpassed our expectations. We are a group of friends who have travelled from Melbourne, Australia, from a long overdue holiday after months of lockdown. On arrival we were immediately greeted by Olivia and wonderful Suranji who, over two weeks, provided us with a truly incredible Italian experience! Thank you for sharing your incredible home with us. An experience to be remembered forever!
