On a quiet winding road 14km/9 miles north-east of medieval Massa Marittima, with a large selection of bars, shops and restaurants, in an area known as the Colline Metallifere for its mineral wealth and resulting range of colours in the soil and rocks. The minerals, exploited in the Middle Ages, are now exhausted but the old miners’ villages remain as lovely backwaters - and the fine wines produced here have attracted a good deal of interest in recent times, and some excellent restaurants have opened to cater the enthusiasts. The village of Montieri, 7km/4 miles, boasts several shops, a very good pizzeria, tennis courts, riding stables a bank and a post office. Roccatederighi, 19km/12 miles, with great views and tiny steep alleys, is carved into a needle of rock. Siena, 1 hour.

This villa is in a beautiful secluded setting, it’s well equipped and very comfortable throughout. The spacious kitchen and living area was all great. The veranda was superb and offered beautiful views.

The most beautiful villa positioned down a long track. The views are exquisite of the Tuscan mountains. The only sounds are those of the birds and the occasional wild boar.It is wonderfully private with not a soul for miles. The villa is cool, comfortable and very beautiful with wonderful facilities to make your stay luxurious. The large terrace which we spent lazy lunches, eating and lounging on was cool and relaxing. The pool and surrounding garden is a wonderful place to sunbathe, swim and soak up the ambience. A wonderful place to just switch off and enjoy your surroundings.

Very attractive house, i would be proud to be the owner of such a holiday home, the covered veranda makes such a pleasant appearance , internal layout of two self contained bedrooms separated by impressive living / kitchen area. The furnishings are of a high standard, both inside and out plus the external dinning table is made of a very sensible stone finish.The absolute quietness and views into spoilt tree clad hills rarely available in western Europe . The pool is of a good size and always clean. The materials used around the pool are attractive and safe for feet and the landscaping is good.

A spacious well appointed villa which was peaceful and completely isolated. Fantastic views of mountainous woodland. Well kept garden area with a large clean swimming pool.

It was very quiet and secluded. Well set out, with everything we needed. Loads of space - although there was only 2 of us, the villa is meant for 4 and there would have still been lots of space available with 4 people staying there.
