About 4km/2.5 miles from the village of Pieve Santo Stefano, in a landscape of gentle hills with beautiful woods and pastures, La Palazza Nel Cielo was originally built to host pastures and to make cheese. Now perfectly restored by the owners to a unique country retreat immersed in the Tuscan Apennine mountain range. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Pieve Santo Stefano about 10 minutes by car: it provides a supermarket and all essential shops like pharmacy, bank, deli, and bars. San Sepolcro, about 20 km far offers a wider choice or further away Arezzo, famous for its antique shops and market, can satisfy any necessity. There is a beautiful spot for a walk or a picnic at roughly 10 minutes walk from the villa; it is the sanctuary of "Madonna del Faggio". Excursions might include within 1 hour, Perugia with its restaurants and jazz festival, and Assisi where San Francis and Renaissance painter Giotto both made history. To the East the Adriatic Coast with Rimini and Riccione, both about 1 hour 30 minutes drive; Florence about 2 hours drive or reachable by train from Arezzo. Great walking around the area.

Amazing two week holiday! The villa staff were great – special mention for Chef Silvano who cooked for us twice (delicious) and gave us a great cooking lesson. We made incredible memories in this wonderful home that will last a lifetime. Lots of love, a thankful family from Australia, Ireland, Canada, Japan and Nicaragua. What a wonderful week we have had! We are so happy to have come to this unique and elegant Villa. The view, the pool, the interior design, the kitchen, the outdoor facilities, the game room as the overall facilities couldn't have been better. Mom and Dad's/Grandma and Grandpa's 70th birthday week was a blast.
The week was mostly used to be together and enjoy everything here in the house/at the pool side, but we also went to few small towns in the neighborhood, which was a great experience.

We leave La Palazza with a heavy heart as it is tough to tear yourselves away from such a special place.
This place has everything you could possibly want for a holiday with three families.
A week here feels like a mid loose break and we have had two cooked meals from Silvano, the local Chef.
The Chianti is recommended and a trip to Anghiari was worth it for the lunch at La Nera.
We will definitely be back!

We have enjoyed our one week here in La Palazza, what a beautiful house. The chef Silvano came and cooked us a great meal. We head home to Iceland relaxed with 1000 visits to the pool, 1 visit to Antognolla Golf Club and 1000 glasses of good wine. We say thank you Luigi for your house.

We have had the most magical week at La Palazza! Such a beautiful setting and the house a true gem! It is so well thought out and all the details so appreciated! The pool has been a life saver in this heat and the playroom perfect for the kids (and adults!) to play and keep out of the midday sun!
Silvano came to cook for us for 3 sensational feasts – it was such a treat to eat local, fresh and delicious food overlooking the rolling Tuscany hills! Thank you for such a restful and joyful family holiday in the perfect setting.

Pictures surely don’t do justice to the Palazza, we stay one week and we must say : this has been the best holiday ever!

We have spent two wonderful weeks at this lovely place.
After the last challenging months this has been the perfect spot for our family get together.
The kids enjoyed the pool and the awesome playroom and the rest of us the amazing view,
the beautiful nature, the wonderful house and Silvano ’s delicious dinners.
We will come back for sure, next year is booked already.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The photos really don't do this place justice. The villa is incredibly well stocked - there is nothing missing and the decors is beautiful and really makes you relax quickly. Whether it is rainy day in the games room or a sunny day playing games in the garden, there is plenty to do for kids and adults alike.
The icing on the cake is Silvano's cooking - prepared with great skill and a lot of love. Can't wait to come back soon!

A Tuscan Dream. An incredible retreat from the busy throes of reality. The set up is remarkable and the design nearly perfect. Silvano crafted an exceptional meal and managed to showcase how the world has come to love Italian food, warmth and hospitality. I'd love to stay, but duty calls.
