Lividonia d'Argento is located only 4km from the largest town in the Monte Argentario Peninsula, Porto Santo Stefano, offering an array of supermarkets, restaurants, bars, bakeries and greengrocers, in addition to the local market. Conveniently located to explore by boat the numerous scenic coves along the coast nearby, including Cala Grande, Cala del Gesso, and Cala Mar Morto, and a stone's throw from the famous sandy beaches of La Giannella and La Feniglia. Lividonia d'Argento is also well positioned for exploring the lesser-known towns on the Tuscan coast, including Grosseto (47km), with its stunning Regional Park of Maremma; Scansano (48km), a peaceful medieval hilltown; Saturnia (60km) famous for its natural spa and hot springs; Capalbio with its famous tarot garden; and Castiglione della Pescaia which is one of the prettiest coastal towns in Tuscany. Alternatively head into neighbouring Lazio for Papal villas and ancient Roman and Etruscan landscapes.

The Philip, Oliver and Smith families have had the time of their lives – this is truly paradise and we are so sad to leave! We had lovely dinners outside after watching exquisite sunsets every night. We came with high expectations. The welcome from Kirsten was lovely. She showed us the garden and the house and we couldn’t really believe what we saw. I had to ask her is she was real or a fairy queen! We have enjoyed two weeks with sunshine, swimming, wonderful sunsets and beautiful mornings. With that we could come back another time. The Villa is wonderful, a great environment for adults and children, and the local area is beautiful.
Also, we felt very well looked after by Kirsten. She made us feel very welcome, and has been very helpful to us in a number of ways.

Wow what a stunning villa! It feels like a really lovely home. I loved all the books in the house, giving it a very lived in feel with a long happy peaceful history. The gardens are so beautiful + lovingly tended. They make this home a beautiful peaceful ??? full of birds + insects. What a delight. The views are breathtaking. The facilities + the pool just wonderful. Very comfortable beds + so spacious. So much room to spread art + find a quiet spot. We spent many hours under the gorgeous vine covered pergola eating + chatting. We loved all the plastic colourful cookery, lots of glassware + cutlery fabulous. Kirsten was very kind + gracious.
