At the heart of the famous Crete Senese, about 25 minutes south of Siena. Shops and a restaurant are at Ville di Corsano, 3 km/2 miles. It's a 20-minute drive southwards to Murlo, where a great little museum displays the goods of an Etruscan family who lived here 2500 years ago. Buonconvento, 35 minutes, has a lovely old town to explore, and 14km/9 miles further along is Montalcino, a classic Tuscan hill town.

My husband and I have had a wonderful, happy week with ours children and grandchildren in villa Palzzo Cheto celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. There were sixteen of us here and Cristina, Antonio, and Maria pia looked after us so well with great kindness. Our cooking lesson on how to make pasta, pizza and tiramisu was fantastic, eating everything we made was even better! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! Cristina, Antonio and Ennio were tremendous here and made our stay extra special. All the food was top-notch even better than most of the restaurants we tried here, best of all, it allowed us to dine under the Tuscan stars with dear family and friends. The kids had so much fun exploring the grounds and aplashing in the pool. We all explored the neighbouring towns and wineries , shops and museum and had such a relaxing and wonderful time. Memories were made here and we look forward to many move in this style! This was so unique but we hope to find other experiences as truly memorable as this one! Dear Ennio, what a beautiful villa in a beautiful setting this is! We have loved our week here, there is room enough for every one and the rooms are fabulous. Our grandchildren could not get enough time in the pool and the grown-ups enjoyed floating and lounging as well. Pizza night was a great family memory along with the spectacular sunsets!
