To the east of Impruneta, 20 minutes’ drive, sits this magnificent Medici villa. San Polo in Chianti, 3km/2 miles, home to shops, bars and restaurants along with a weekly market. For keen explorers of the arts and museums alike Florence city centre can be reached in about 30 minutes’. The nearby Via Chiantigiana takes you on the scenic route into Chianti with its many hilltop villages and towns, Panzano, Greve-in-Chianti and Castellina-in-Chianti make for interesting day trips, Siena slightly further on can be reached in just over an hour.

There is only one word to describe our stay at the Villa, AMAZING. It was the perfect place for my family to stay. We all loved exploring the grounds at the Villa. The pool was wonderful after a day of visiting the various towns. Tuscany is so magical and holds a very special place in my heart as my grandparents are all from the Tuscany area. Ciao! Our time here at the villa was incredible. We loved the charm of this home and the details of the old world. This trip was our first one taking our 3 daughters overseas and they loved the views (and the pool of course!). we enjoyed our day trips to Lucca + Pisa, vineyards + San Gimignano. The days we spent in Florence were amazing. One of our favourite memories will be the evening we enjoyed a Tuscan cooking class in this wonderful kitchen. After preparing our meal with morgana, we loved sitting outside to enjoy the fruits of our labour. Vino in the patio as the sun was setting will be etched in our memories. The most relaxing vacation in a beautiful and comfortable home. The views were spectacular, and the location was perfect. Very close to Firenze and several smaller quietest towns. The recommendation by Marco were fantastic and really added to our experience here. We’ve left with wonderful memories of Tuscany. We will definitely be back!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The place is amazing. The views are fantastic and the the people are great. Daniela was such a great host. She made us two meals that were so delicious. Lastly, we made up a game for the pool called mini volley ball...hours of entertainment.

What a stunning location with a spectacular breathtaking view. We arrived late but were instantly made extremely welcome with a delicious food cooked up by Daniela. We would have been quite happy to more up here all week and eat the delicious fresh dishes but we did divide to journey to Castellina for lunch and Florence. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable week.

everything was very beautiful - the view, the villa and Tuscany itself.
No problem finding great restaurant (I recommend the wild boar - il cinghiale in Italian) and did a particularly lovely wine tour and lunch at Verrazzano winery. Overall, it was a great first impression of Tuscany for all 8 of us, Americans and Brits.

E' stato fantastico!! What an incredible villa with a different magical sunset every evening... we felt very at home and loved exploring each corner of the villa and garden. We enjoyed our aperitivi with each different view, the kitchen wad perfect for preparing delicious Italian suppers we swam morning of evening in the beautiful pool... Friends cannot express the amazing time we had at the beautiful villa. The orange sunset, lazing by the pool and being so close to Florence city made the stay a wonderful experience. We arrived home yesterday, but are still dreaming of Tuscany.
I cannot thank you enough for everything from finding out lost group, shopping but most of all the amazing dinner that you made for us. We cannot stop telling everyone about our meal. I would love to have some of your recipe's even though I am sure I cannot make them as good as you. Again, thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We hope to come back to Tuscany again next year. What an absolutely, delightful place to spend a week. The view is gorgeous, sunsets breathtaking and visits to wineries- just a terrific spot.
Mario must be the best host I have ever met. A generous man who shared with us many special wines, cooked us a magnificent feast and gave us many interesting stories on life in Tuscany. He truly made us feel like we were family.

The villa was just beautiful. My only complaint was we had an issue finding the villa with our GPS. Once we got there we had the most amazing time and we have just wonderful memories.

Daniella was waiting for us when we arrived at the Villa and explained everything very efficiently, and made contact during our stay to make sure everything was o.k.
Mario was also quick to take action when a power cut occurred late in the evening.

The house was excellent, and just what we had imagined. There was enough space for 6 of us, with beautiful views of the Chianti Hills. Daniela was the perfect host introducing us to the house, and some local highlights. We also enjoyed the cooking class we had at the house. Lots of fun! The only improvement would be to include a basic cleaning pack eg. soaps, dish washing tablets and detergent, sponges and tea towels or advise tenants to bring their own. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

Nice house , pleased everyone from 70+ year old to 2 year old kid. More important was the Caretaker of the house Daniela. Very nice person, cooked great meals for us , organized meals for us even when she was not cooking, and more important was always available to help and always with great attitude and kindness

Beautiful property albeit a bit remote for a small party of four. One problem- the rutted gravel road to the property needs to be better maintained. Even at slow speeds, it scratched up the underside of the rental car for which I was liable.
