What an incredibly unique and truly memorable experience we’ve had at Villa Solomonio. The entire Solomonio team has engaged with all of our family and friends throughout our week’s stay and the daily breakfast and dinners were beyond compare! Also the highly personal contact with the owners (Luisanna & Marcello) made it feel like we were staying with friends and relatives. And we took advantage of this incredible venue and renewed our wedding vows. The arrangement was beyond perfection and our 22 guests were in awe of the setting, the music and of course the food and drinks. Truly memorable week. My friends and I came here to celebrate my parents’ vow renewal and it was a magical experience. Every staff member has been so kind and loving and always made sure we had everything we needed. Magnifico! Tutto Perfetto! We came to celebrate our 30th anniversary with friends & family from Washington DC, New Jersey, Ohio, Tel Aviv and Boston. An absolutely magical, once in a lifetime experience of beautiful surroundings, lovely accommodations with beautiful spacious rooms all with air conditioning and bathrooms, lovely linens, closets and drawer space, amazing food, amazing wine and cocktails, beautiful pol with lounges all around, incredible breakfast buffet and the most warm, kind, generous, responsive hosts led by Luisanna, her husband Marcello and her wonderful team. Along with Giuliana the chef, special shout out Arianna and Vittoria who patiently translated all of these New Yorkers, Bostonians and Umbrians talking fast and over each other. A great stay at Villa Solomonio – amazing views, hospitality and facilities to keep all 17 of us well occupied. The table tennis table was very well used. Rooms and pool were perfect, as was the daily supply of figs! So sad it’s the end of our holiday! We’ve had an amazing time, all 17 of us. The house is so beautiful. The pool so welcome with the heat – and used excessively by all. All the men enjoyed the kitchen facilities making the meals for us all. The nearest and biggest supermarket in Todi was very good. Many day trips, Florence, Rome, Assisi, Perugia, Montepulciano, Orvieto, Terni and Todi – such amazing places. Far too much wine, beer and food consumed. Nice to be able to make noise with family games, and not upset the neighbours! Hosts were fantastic, the house and gardens were so clean & tidy. It deserves 10/10 for location and facilities! A 60-year long dream came true this week at Villa Solomonio. We ere blown away by the incredible views, endless hospitality, and warm-hearted people. This was the perfect place to celebrate family in honour of our grandparents’ 60th anniversary. We had a wonderful break at your beautiful villa – four families from Melbourne Australia (now one family living in Germany) were able to relax and unwind in comfort, with plenty of space. The pool was a hit and the selection of toys and balls were used daily. We all came together to cook and dine in the well equipped kitchen and we had to pinch ourselves every time we soaked in the views of the surrounding mountains. Thank you Marcello & Lousianna for a wonderful 3 weeks of Umbrian fun at Solomino. We enjoyed the house, the garden, the pool, and all the wonderful wild animal visitors: fox, lodge dogs, frogs, moles, and bats. Our favorite restaurant recommended was Vigna del Borgo in Aquasparta.

We sincerely thank you for an amazing time here at Solomonio Villa. We had an extremely relaxing and enjoyable time here in Umbria. We loved everything about Villa Solomonio! The rooms and the house were clean and very well equipped.
We spent many days at the beautiful pool and garden. We also visited local towns and nearby restaurants and to cut it short Orvieto stands out as a place to visit from the Villa.
Our fondest memory from the house, besides the obvious beauty of the villa, will be all the amazing food and kindness of the incredible chef Giuliana.
We hope to visit the villa again one day.

Avevamo fatto piani da visitare a destra e sinistra, andare qui andare la'. Ma la verita' e` che siamo stati talmente bene che spostarsi passava in totale seecondo piano.
Dal giardino agli spazi fuori, all'intimita' in casa, dalla colazione passando all'aperitivo e alla cena, ci siamo goduti ogni secondo.
Abbiamo fatto battaglie in piscina infinite, abbiamo letto di tutto, da Topolino alla trilogia di New York. Abbiamo fatto i compiti al fresco, abbiamo pisolato sui gonfiabili e fatto tanti brindisi.
la signora Luisanna e` stata sempre disponibile per aiutarci in ogni nostra necessita`, soprattutto quelle dei bambini, anche dei piu piccoli.
Il cibo merita un capitolo a se`: tutto buonissimo, e reso ancora piu buono dalla signora Giuliana che ci ha fatto conoscere la tradizione rimanendo seduti a tavola.
Sara` un trauma tornare a casa e scoprire che lei non verra` con noi! Pian piano partiamo tutti, sappiamo di andare, ma ci rimane nel cuore questa fantastica esperienza!

Two weeks + 1 day because we just couldn't leave. We had made plans to go left and right, go here, go there, but the truth is that we had such a good time that moving was totally secondary. From the garden, to the outdoor spaces, to the intimacy at home, from breakfast to aperitifs and dinner, we enjoyed every second. We've had endless pool fights, Jedi fights, we've read everything from Mickey Mouse to the New York Trilogy, we've done homework in the cool, snoozed on inflatables and made lots and lots of toasts. Mrs. Luisanna was always available to help us in all our needs, especially those of children, even the youngest. The food deserves a chapter in itself: all delicious, and made even better by Mrs. Giuliana who introduced us to the tradition while remaining seated at the table. It will be a trauma to go home and discover that she will not come with us! Slowly we all leave, we know we are going but this fantastic experience remains in our hearts.

We all loved our stay at Solomonio. It is a beautiful villa with gorgeous and well kept garden not forgetting the lovely scenery. Sunsets kept amazing us every evening. The dinners were the best part of our stay. What a nice way to end the day by gathering around the table. I can definitely recommend the cook service. Our only wish is if vegetarians would be paid attention a bit more.
