Petroio is a real estate with several stand-alone houses next to the main villa. The word estate really applies here. The whole property more than exceeded our high expectations. The houses are very tastefully decorated, they are not holiday homes but complete villas where you would like to live. You can see that they have been restored with great care, furnished and decorated. The atmosphere of Petroio, lying in a beautiful quiet location with stunning views, is so pleasant that you have no need for trips in the area. Staying there for a week is a week of non-stop enjoyment. Another important factor that contributes to this is the professional and friendly staff. Everything is right and that is unique.

Petroio has to be considered the example of what service should be in all the proprieties that TN&M administer: attentive without been intrusive and professional from management to gardener... all the time! We will always remember them with gratitude.

The week we spent at Estate of Petroio was easily the best week of our lives. From the first moments we arrived to the last night before we left, every minute of our time spent there was beyond magical. I miss this place every single day. The accommodations: no photos do this place justice. The villa(s) are so incredible, beautifully designed, warm and welcoming. Each villa on the property is special in its own unique way – so much so that we had difficulty deciding where to sleep because we all wanted to spend time in multiple rooms or parts of the houses. The rooms are all wonderful, each with its own design and color pallet and the history behind the property is as amazing as the property itself. The outside areas are equally as stunning. We spent time at both pool, taking in the rolling Tuscan hill views. We spent a lot of our time in the courtyard outside of the main house, which had comfortable seating for all 20 of us around the bonfire pit. The grounds also have a great gym, pool table, ping pong, volleyball, bocce – anything you can think of. The staff: Eduardo and his wonderful staff made our stay everything we had hoped for and more. Welcoming is an understatement. The staff at Petroio made us feel like family from the moment we met them. So much so that we truly missed everyone when we left. The entire kitchen staff was out of this world amazing too. Every single meal we had was authentic, made from scratch, fresh and tasted delicious. From handmade gnocchi to the best pizza night ever – we didn’t have one bad meal while we were there. It was my mom’s birthday during the trip and Eduardo worked with me to make sure we could surprise her with a birthday cake – which ended up being a handmade gelato ice cream cake – SO delicious. He also worked with us basically nightly to make sure we had plenty of amazing Petroio wine to drink throughout our meals :) The food: every meal was hands-down incredible. Some of our favorites – gnocchi, risotto, ricotta ravioli, pork with apples, chicken – I could go on and on. It was that good. And there was plenty to go around – we ate til we were stuffed and regularly had leftovers for lunch the next day – an added bonus. Breakfast spread in the morning was plentiful too – with different pastries, fresh fruits from the garden, and eggs made to order. Definitely don’t miss out on the pizza night – Aziz fires up the pizza oven for an all-you-can eat buffet of amazing, right out of the oven pizza – in any flavor combo you could imagine. He even let a few of us make our own pizzas and taught us how to put them in the oven! The wedding: I had my wedding at Petroio and everything was perfect. From the start, Eduardo provided great wedding planning contacts for me to utilize while planning a wedding from the US. He also was great as an advisor – letting me know throughout the process what areas of the property he thought would be best for parts of the wedding day. He would even send photos to me to show me different areas, different angles of these spaces, even napkin color choices. And he was totally right about everything he recommended. He also worked with me to plan out the perfect menu, making sure that everything I wanted (from an aperol spritz hour, to fresh truffles and even tiramisu instead of a cake) He went above and beyond to make sure the day was amazing – even showing up that day to help the wedding coordinator and make sure that everything was in order. The planning: Eduardo is not only welcoming and kind, he is a subject matter expert on all things Tuscany and helped me plan every moment of the trip. He offered amazing recommendations and steered me in the right direction when I was choosing excursions. Before arrival and even during our trip, he took care in helping me plan shuttle pickups throughout the week for our group of 20. All of us did a wine tasting day in Tuscany (highly recommend) and Eduardo stopped by our second vineyard to check in on us and make sure we were having fun. I was blown away by the hospitality and service. Every shuttle was on time, and every logistic that he touched was perfect. I’m extremely Type A when it comes to organization/logistics and Eduardo was incredible in his attention to detail and expertise in all that we planned. I can say without a doubt that we will be back to Petroio as soon as its possible. It is heaven. Thank you Eduardo – Petroio is pure magic.

Tuscany Now was great at making sure our questions were answered up front. We felt super comfortable planning a vacation/wedding on the property from afar.

Efficient, patient, and thorough. My booking involved a large group, and many of them had questions that I frequently had to contact Tuscany Now to ask. The questions—and there were plenty of them, often repeated—were answered courteously and promptly.

Worth every penny. We so enjoyed the rooms, common spaces and so much to do -- sports, hiking, swimming, and eating!

The estate is lovely. The houses are beautifully decorated, and the grounds well maintained. The views of the Tuscan countryside are very special. The owners have added lots of features to keep guests entertained. Young and old will enjoy the estate. We found the location a bit more isolated than we expected, so getting anywhere for shopping or day trips was more of a hassle than we would have liked. The drive to the Villa is challenging. But once you are there, it is amazing.

The Estate of Petroio is nothing less of a paradise on Earth! We rented the whole estate for 1 week in June and it was the perfect place for our family reunion. The location is wonderful and all the rooms are beautiful. Every single member of the group loved their room and everything about those houses and the surroundings. The facilities are great, it has everything to offer that you can think of, and if it is not there the wonderful staff will just get if for you! The estate is big enough for everybody to be able to enjoy time together, or find a quiet corner when it gets too crowded! Edoardo and the whole team at Petroio are extremely helpful and professional in all their work, and you can easily see how much they care about their property. We almost didn’t leave Petroio the whole week, we just didn't feel like spending any time away from this wonderful place. We also ordered dinners for the whole group most of the nights, for which I am very grateful. The chefs are great and the meals they prepared for us were just wonderful. It is also good to keep in mind that even though the next grocery shop is only 8 km away, it takes up to half an hour to drive there, through very narrow and difficult roads. Dear Edoardo and the whole team at Petroio - thank you very much for helping us make this the perfect reunion for the big Icelandic family! I am hoping and praying we can return one day!

The Estate was OMG, the website and pictures didn't do it justice. everything was just perfect from the magnificent views, the residences, to the staff. so much to do on site. it was the perfect holiday. Our host Eduardo couldn't do enough for us and anything we asked for he delivered. Nothing was a problem. we would recommend the Estate to anyone wanting an idyllic holiday in Tuscany. we would come back to the Villa in a heartbeat.
