Barberino Val d’Elsa, 800m/0.5 miles, lies along a beautiful road with views of the Colli Fiorentini on one side and the Val d’Elsa on the other. A hilltop village that has grown beyond its original walls, it has a lovely "centro storico" as do dramatically-sited Certaldo, 18 minutes to the west, and San Gimignano, 25 minutes to the south-west. Florence is quickly reached along the motorway, 35 minutes, but the slower route through the Chianti Classico region on the Via Chiantigiana, 25 minutes, is one of the loveliest drives in Italy.

Our group at Villa Tizzano absolutely loved the villa, the chef Vieri was amazing, and house manager Christian was incredible too! We all had the best holiday and enjoyed our time in Tuscany so, so much! Everyone at the villa was incredible, so kind, and provided excellent service. And everyone on the Concierge Team leading up to the trip was so helpful in answering my many questions and provided so much information and insight. Thank you again for all your help!
I hope to have another trip to Tuscany next year and will definitely be using your services again in the future!

Interesting property, great location, stunning views. Loved Tuscany – such a beautiful area, villages Barberino and Certaldo are very pretty, San Gimignano definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately was eaten alive by the mosquitoes but a dip in the pool was such a relief!!

On June 16th the four branches of the Robert Kopp family came to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We came from Jounsville, Chicago and Austin. Our family of fourteen has few opportunities to be together.
We visited some small towns and Florence, we soaked up Tuscan sun in the pool; we played games by the pool; we sat on the patio with laughter and discussions while sipping Limoncello. Our favourite activity was eating dinner under the arbour watching beautiful sunsets. We really enjoyed the wine tasting, and wine and olive tour in the cavers with Guido, Anita, taught some of us a wonderful cooking class and then prepared a sumptuous dinner for the family to celebrate our anniversary. Elena kept the household in good order.
the history, the age, and the beauty of Villa Tizzano were appreciated by every member of our family. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone relaxing, sunshine and peaceful week in Tuscany.

A magic location plus a wonderful holiday at Tizzano. Beautiful pool, gorgeous home, a spectacular weather with our favourite company. Lots of celebrations and special visits to San Gimignano, Siena and the local Barberino. Another good week at Tizzano! We were all excited about coming back and we haven't been disappointed. This is such an excellent place for a family holiday, comfortable accommodation and a wonderful pool.
We had 3 meals cooked by villa chefs! Best meals of the trip. Highly recommend!! Loved Elena Raviolis and Anita also makes the best pesto!! - Our experience here at The Tizzano villa was fabulous! It was the perfect, relaxing gateway for my husband and I and our 10 friends from the United states. Anita was very helpful with all details of our trip. Elena is a wonderful cook and a warm and charming lady. Guido gave us a very interesting tour of the family estate and winery.

We enjoyed the house day and night, always a place to find peace to rest or excitement to play. The pool brought so much fun, not just the kids enjoyed it- everyday. The most exciting night has the storm, when we decided to experience the pigeons tower. Elena - we especially appreciated the fantastic dinners you cooked for us - always delicious and fulfilling and served with passion. We will go home and try to make pasta now, but it won't be the same!

Villa Tizzano - a 'bellissimo' destination!
The Tuscany Now and More staff answered all of our questions before the trip in a timely fashion. Some required a bit of research, which they performed expeditiously. The list of foods we can pay to have brought into the Villa prior to our arrival is perfect. I wish we had deleted the egg plant! Our additions to the list were also provided. Willa Tizzano was perfect for our family of 14 - ages almost 8 to 75. All of us appreciated the history of the Villa and the location in Barberino Val D'Elsa. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool and we all loved the large table under the grape arbor for our meals. The coral sunsets were glorious! The Villa Tizzano staff were superb. Anita White was a gracious and kind manager. She spoiled us with delicious food and treats. Several of us took her cooking class and learned some new skills, including making pasta (pici). The meal she prepared for us was one of the best we ate in Italy. Guido, the owner, took us to his winery and olive operation. His stories were very interesting as we walked through the caverns. We ended the tour with a wine and olive oil tasting. Elena was nice to talk to and kept the household in great order.
