Less than 1 km from the farmhouse is the ancient medieval village of Salci, dating back to the mid-1200s, while the picturesque village of San Casciano dei Bagni is just 17km away, brimming with monuments, churches and its renowned thermal baths and wellness centre. The ancient Etruscan town of Città della Pieve is just 25km away, The A1 motorway exit at Fabro is just 6km away is also an important connection to renowned destinations like Cortona (75km), Orvieto (41km), Castiglione del Lago (36km), Montepulciano (40km), Siena (100km) and Lake Bolsena (60km). The railway from Fabro is also a great link to major cities like Rome and Florence, easily reachable in just a few hours.

Can’t say enough about Alessio’s meticulousness, thoughtfulness and positivity. He was available, with patience for each question/inquiry. We enjoyed meals at the local restaurants, based upon his thoughtful recommendations. We will definitely return to this lovely and inspirational home.

What a beautiful week! Family + friends from Hong Kong, Australia + the UK coming together to enjoy this stunning villa, surrounded by picturesque scenery. visiting beautiful towns + cities such as Orvieto, Città della Pieve + Montepulciano returning to relax by the pool!!! We also spent a wonderful afternoon at Bindella winery. Thank you for memories, hope to come back...

We were 3 generations and 2 of are spread around the world – London/Paris/New York. To come together in such a beautiful spot for a week was magical. Nadia prepared a wonderful homemade authentic Italian dinner for us one evening – it was absolutely amazing. The way the accommodation is spread was perfect for our family and our dog. Dear Torresalci visitors, we had the pleasure to spend two weeks in July ‘23. it was extremely hot – up to 39° C! Nevertheless, it was quite enjoyable to sit in the garden and at the swimming pool, benefiting from the nice breeze and the shadow of the trees. It is a wonderful place, very peaceful with terrific views on the “post card” landscape. We appreciated the services of the caretaker team; cleaning was top and the swimming pool was kept in good shape. A special mention to Nadia, the housekeeper (and a good cook…) who taught my wife quite some Italian in a crash course… There is only one regret. And that is that two weeks was too short… hopefully next time we can stay a bit longer… I wish all the visitors of Torresalci a splendid stay. Best regards, Esther and Francis (Belgium)
