The entire Langford family gathered at Villa di Masseto to celebrate a very big birthday. They came from Uk, Australia and Singapore and we all had the most amazing time, all 3 generations! The Villa and grounds are absolutely beautiful and worked perfectly but the real star of the show is the lovely Benedetta who masterminded all the arrangements, both in the weeks (months) before we arrived and whilst we were here. She is the most lovely person - super lovely!! and brings not just high efficiency and perfectionism to managing the villa but also her wonderful sense of humour. One of the things she organised for us were the Chefs, they cooked wonderful meals for us every evening- We want to take them all home with us!! Thank you so much for a wonderful week. Words alone can't describe just how fantastic Villa Di Masseto is....the villa is beautiful and in a beautiful location, but what makes it amazing, is the house manager, Benedetta! My family (3 siblings, 3 sibling in laws and me) just returned from a week at Villa Di Masseto. I shared with Benedetta the things we wanted to do while in Tuscany, and she worked mercilessly to ensure it all happened....she arranged our transport, tickets, etc. and our week went off without a single hitch. I can't recommend this place enough...you won't be disappointed with the villa, the grounds, and especially with Benedetta!!!

Hello I am now home after a gorgeous Italian holiday .. the highlight being my week at the villa di Masseto ! We were there from July 1st-8th and I had close friends and family with me .12 of us in total .. meant to be 14 of us but at last minute dear friends had to cancel due to one requiring emergency spinal surgery … We arrived late afternoon to our delight and pleasure at discovering this wonderful house .. we were met by the manager Benedetta who was most friendly and helpful.. She had also done my basic shopping for me from my emailed list and all provisions were there /in fridge and stacked in kitchen .. Made such a difference as we had come by train from Florence so shopping for groceries etc was very difficult .. meant we were able to enjoy the weekend with plenty of food not needing to consider stores / food purchasing til the start of the next week.. The villa is absolutely wonderful… large grounds with picturesque gardens/ great outdoor dining space/ fantastic generous pool/ fabulous décor in the many rooms/ charming and tastefully furnished without being fussy or too precious.. accommodation was good.. we determined who was to sleep where (we were a group from ages 65-29 ) .some shared bathrooms as not all bathrooms had showers ( other than hand held at bath ) The master was beautiful with excellent ensuite full of natural light .. Lovely views form everywhere in this house.. Kitchen is small on first look but worked well with a couple cooks at a given time .. there are another spots with some cooking facilities but lots stairs we managed with the main one .. used microwave in other kitchen (up quite a few stairs ) a few times however .. Plenty of crockery and glassware /it was generous in its content so we were not having to constantly wash dinnerware .. We ate out doors all nights bar one as the weather was heavenly and around 27 degrees each evening .. As keen cooks we ate there every night .. sourced good produce form nearby Coops (partic good one in Pontassieve ) but Sieci too was more than adequate .. BBQ was in use too so we all enjoyed preparing great dishes and were so happy to remain there each evening after plenty of beautiful days exploring nearby region . A train to Florence was a quick trip from Sieci station.. around 10 mins in the car to station from villa .. we made a couple trips into Florence to shop for gorgeous things /a winery tasting /tour and lunch one day and another day my birthday lunch I had pre arranged in Fiesole .. On these days I organised(through Tuscany now ) a bus to take us all which was leisurely and relaxing requiring no one to drive..All worked really well .. We were all sad to leave and I hope to be able to rent another of your properties in the future .. we had previously enjoyed one of your villas in Umbria .. Thank you again for providing great services and excellent and charming properties.

I have been bringing tour groups to Tuscany since 1989, always using different villas in different cities. Villa di Masetto is without a doubt one of the most beautiful villas I've ever rented. I will most likely come back again at a future date.

It is hard to put into words just how amazing our week at Villa di Masseto was! It truly was a magical experience and one that myself and the 20 other guests will treasure. I have heard endless comments since being home about how this was THE best holiday people have ever been on and ever since I have been home, I have had major holiday blues! I cannot wait to return. As guests of the villa, Benedetta made us feel safe, welcome and spoiled! No one can argue with the beauty of the villa and the Tuscan hills that surround it but Benedetta makes the villa feel like your home - especially when she is there either dropping of a delicious tiramisu, ensuring that dinners run smoothly or arranging day trips to other breathtaking destinations. We cannot express just how amazing she made our holiday! As newly weds who got married at the villa on 10th August and that is why both Benedetta and the villa have a special place in our hearts. It was a day that we have both felt excited, anxious and nervous about but because of Benedetta's help and inspiration we had the most perfect day. Very rarely can you say that there is nothing you would change about something but this day truly was PERFECT for us (even the tornado they day before!).
