Set just outside Venice and within walking distance of Mirano, 400m/450 yards, a smaller town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Mira, on the Brenta Canal renowned for its Palladian villas, is 5 minutes' drive. There are several 18-hole golf courses in the immediate area, as well as two famous thermal spas. Venice is reached by car via Piazzale Roma, 20km/12.5 miles, then by either private motoscaffi or public vaporetto, or from the new terminal at Fusina, 17km/11 miles, and an hourly ferry ('traghetto').

Thank you Villa Michiel for hosting our long awaited family reunion. This grand villa was a spectacular backdrop for our holiday. The luxury of late afternoon trips to Venezia, Murano so central to many wonderful towns. The grand rooms, historic furnishings, a spectacular garden and pool – luxury living under a Murano chandelier! So many special places to relax in. The dinner cooked for us on arrival was perfect and thank you for the cake you gave us for a birthday celebration we had whilst here.

The in-house cook and service was incredible, and something we’ll always remember.

We had the greatest 60th birthday trip. This villa offered us lots of laughs, happiness, sun and beautiful views. We enjoyed the entire villa and its garden, lake, swimming pool and beautiful rooms; the combination of the villa and these lovely people is the greatest thing ever! thank you for this week, we will come back for sure.

What a wonderful home, garden and pool that we have just experiences for your summer holiday in Mirano. Our family came here with high hopes of a different Italian experience. We were not disappointed. Everything here surpassed our expectation. We are a mixed age group from 6 to 74 and there is something here for everyone. Hopefully we will renew the experience in 2020

It was a real pleasure to stay in Villa Michiel, wonderful property furnished and equipped with everything needed. Mirano is a lovely little town with plenty of eating/coffee/shopping options and very friendly locals. Villa in great location and less than ten minute walk to town center.
Would happily book with Tuscany Now in the future.

We have had a completely wonderful three weeks in this beautiful villa. over the three weeks 3 generations of our family form 83 years old to 4 months old have enjoyed the pleasures of Villa Michiel. We have felt completely at home and so welcomed. Anna's cooking is second to none, every meal was completely delicious. So much so that we ate in nearly every other night. Nicoletta was a champ and helpful assistant. Thank you so much for opening your wonderful home to us we have had a fantastic holiday here.

We had 2 amazing weeks here, loved the villa grounds and pool. Apart form Venice, we loved also Treviso. Mirano is a superb base for exploring the area. The staff was very friendly and they looked after us for the entire holiday; we are sorry to be going home now.

Villa Michiel e' meravigliosa e la piscina e giardino sono superbi! Grazie mille a Annamaria, Donatella e Erica per la festa di compleanno di Ronald; e' stata una sera indimenticabile. The gardens and pool area are elegant and peaceful. The villa's proximity to Mirano with its excellent facilities and transport links is a bonus.
Villa Michiel is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery and equipment.
The bathrooms are clean and modern. Particular praise for Erica and Donatella, who prepared a superb birthday feast and entered into the spirit graciously.
