The access road to the villa winds on the hillside among the magnificent vineyards of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, which are harvested and processed to produce the famous Chianti Classico wine at the family's Fattoria I Tattoli (also the original name of the villa), which is part of the estate. The numerous water sources and the soil composition that guarantee regular irrigation, in combination with the microclimate offered by the south-east sun exposure, ensure an exceptional wine and oil production internationally recognised and rewarded. You can even enjoy a wine-tasting experience at the Fattoria. In the nearby centre of Cerbaia, just 3 minutes drive and 20 minutes walk are the nearest restaurants, shops, bakeries and bars and the local farmer's market. Supermarkets in Cerbaia and in San Casciano Val di Pesa. The location of Villa Tinaccio is also ideal for day trips to nearby Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and the Chianti region.

I have often referred to some of the most beautiful places in the world as “thin spaces” – the locations in this world where our world + the heavens coalesce. And how fortunate are we to have experienced an entire week in this thin space of the world, Villa Tinaccio! From the delicious dinners prepared by Costanza + Matteo, to the thoughtful wine presentation from Jessica here at the villa, this week has been a dream! Our wine tours with the sweetest Martina + the beautiful dinner at La Pia hosted by Joe + Marta were some of our favourite memento of this trip! We also loved our educational + fun cooking class with Vittoria + Silvia! Thank you so dearly for welcoming us to this slice of heaven, for making us feel at home, and for embracing our (very large, very loud) family as your own. We will never forget our stay here and your wonderful hospitality. With so much love and high hopes to return one day in the not-so-distant future The McCarthys Breakfast with Jessica and Naomi was wonderful, too!!

What an amazing vacation!?! We had a wonderful time living the Tuscany life. We took full advantage of the pool, the gardens and the wine, of course!! Our favorite surprise was the tortoises. We named them “Beauty, Cutie, Precious, Fruity, Yellow, and Stella”. We also had the special opportunity to celebrate Granma + Pop Pops 50th wedding anniversary! It was a special place for a special occasion 😊 we can’t wait to live + visit this beautiful area again. We are very thankful of the memories made. Irene is just an amazing host to my family these two weeks managing different arrivals, departures, tours, drivers, meals, special attention to our five small granddaughters – wow you are superwoman! We thank you for making our dream trip to Tuscany more than we had hoped for. Villa Tinaccio – a beautiful, peaceful place to relax, rest, rejoice with family and to celebrate my bride’s birthday. It was/is wonderful. The garden and pool (and turtles) kept the girls busy and happy exploring and splashing. Costanza, Matteo, Jessica (wine), Martina (tours) + Martina (musician) and Carlotta (photos) were so pleasant to work with. They represent what we have come to love about this part of Italy. Villa Tinaccio is a magical place. Wandering through the olive trees + grape vines, seeing the beginning of the harvest, and enjoying the brilliant skies + sunsets on the loggia were wonderful. The pool + gardens re gorgeous – relaxing and a great way to end the day. We explored a vineyard Villa Antinori + Castello di Ama both amazing. Our day in Florence seeing sights + shopping+ our tour with Martina was so informative. Our driver was wonderful, stopping in a town to allow us to wander. The views of Tuscany – all spectacular. Villa Tinaccio was a wonderful place to stay and explore the joys of Tuscany. The history of the Villa is amazing and it was an honor to reside on it.
Thank you to Irene for managing the villa so professionally and dealing with all our issues promptly. We experienced so many delights of Tuscany, the food, the wine Loradana's cooking, and the many small towns nearby. Relaxing around the pool with the tortoises was a great way to end the day. A big thank you to Martina our tour guide who showed us around Florence. She was incredibly informative, knowledgeable, and fun and took us to unique places. In fact, we spent nearly every day of our two-week stay doing tours with Martina such as the Uffizzi, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Duomo, Santa Croce etc. Barbara from Tuscany Now and More also made us feel very special by providing her wonderful chef.

Delicious meals from chef Joshua and his crew. Thanks for Francesca's, Noemi's and Jessica's delicious breakfast. Jessica's fun and fascinating. Great wine tastings in Villa, the pool, and the grounds. Also, modern and strong air conditioning during a heatwave has a big plus. Irene was especially helpful in all things, always available and beyond caring during a family health concern. We are so grateful. Our family, 28 ranging from 9 to 80, all enjoyed a vacation to remember, and hope very much to return. Thank you all very much.

Thank you for a beautiful week in this stunning Villa. The house is up to date so that it feels comfortable but still has the old warm charm. There was so many surprises, both in advance of our stay and while we were here. We enjoyed a taste of Florence tours and a fabulous farm-to-table meal prepared by Viola. Our favorite local restaurant was Cinque di Vina, they prepare a wonderful Florentine Steak. All in all a vacation our family will never forget.

We chose Villa Tinaccio to celebrate a very special birthday with our family of 9. we had high expectations and they were exceeded. The grounds are beautiful and everyone loved the pool. Irene was very responsive and smoothed out all the bumps. Chef Joshua’s birthday dinner was lovely. We loved our cooking class with Loredana as well as the other meals she prepared for us. Martina proveded a scholarly and interesting tour of the Uffizi galleries and we enjoyed our time in Firenze. Carlotta Nucci provided us with fantastic family photos which we will always treasure. Villa Tinaccio was the perfect location for our Tuscan adventure and special birthday!

Villa Tinaccio provided the perfect setting for a very special birthday celebration. It has been a week of breathtaking views, delicious food, fabulous wine, interesting and historic sites, lots of laughs, downtime, comfortable spaces to catch up with our family or rest and relax. Irene was responsive and helpful, our chef Costanza and her assistant Maro were skillful and Martina, our guide was knowledgeable and simply made history of cities/towns and information about wines/wineries come alive. Luca provided our safe journeys. And the villa itself was comfortable and equipped to provide the perfect and special place to celebrate our family, and its location A+ (5 stars!).
