A graceful pink city associated with opera and romance, Verona is a delight to explore with performances from June-August. Set 20 minutes south of the city and 4km/3 miles from the small town of Vigasio with bars, shops and resturants, Villa Zambonina is also within easy driving distance of Lake Garda, 20 minutes, and the very pretty village of Sirmione on its southern, palm fringed shore. A supermarket nearby, 1.5km/1 miles is also open on Sunday morning. An area as good for grapes as it is for golfing, three famous wine regions - Bardolino, Soave and Valpolicella - and two 18-hole courses all lie within in hour's drive of the property. Expect to put on a few pounds during a holiday in this area, where the specialties include rich risottos and creamy polentas; as an antidote, there are wonderful walking and biking routes through the vineyards and especially along Lake Garda.

We loved Marina and the coziness of the villa. It slept 18 people, which was wonderful for our small wedding of 38. We came to Villa Zambonina to celebrate our joint 40th birthday party. Family and friends came from far and wide uncertain of what to expect. Everything exceeded our expectations. The villa was the perfect place for adults and children to rest and relax, or play and party as the mood took them. The pool was wonderful and we had plenty of rooms for the children to play hide and seek. Marina was a kind and thoughtful host, Elvira available to guide up, and Suzy’s cooking a real highlight. Thank you is not enough for all you have done for us in our preparations and finally when we arrived the Villa is magnificent and we spent many hours wondering and looking. There are no words! You were constantly checking on us. We loved France and the land. The risotto was so delicious! Suzy made delicious meals (like gnocchi with pears) What can I say?
You enable us to make our family bonds even stronger. The cousins from N.Y and the cousins from Toronto are like our family.
Our trips to Verona, lake Garda, Bolzano, Venice, and Padova were fabulous.

Staying at Villa Zambonina was far more than we could have expected. It felt like we were coming into a home where we were completely welcome and we had the perfect week together. It made meeting our friends and family who we had not seen for so long so much more special with the villa as the backdrop. The home is beautiful, but Marina, Elvira and Franco made it even more so with their help and support. Our wedding was incredible, we cannot thank you enough for everything. Everyone loved you and cannot wait to come back soon!

In June 2018 we had our wedding and this was what I can only describe as the best day of my life. Of course you would (usually) expect someone to say this, but I think it’s fair to say (and my wife would agree) that we were blown away. It was incredible to share our special day with our family and friends in such beautiful and splendid surroundings. This is only half of the picture, however. As most people will appreciate, organising and executing a wedding is a stressful experience and behind any great wedding there must be great teamwork. Moreover, to arrange this this without speaking the native language and while being in another country (the UK), it was always going to be even more challenging. On this note, Marina was just amazing, she really went above and beyond to help Nivek organise every aspect of the day and (in addition to my wife) I cannot thank her enough. The rest of team, including Giuseppe and Marco (catering), Giovanna (photography) and Franco (live music), were all superb. Quite simply, all of these people worked together (with the villa) to create a magical experience for the two of us and our guests.

Our party (16 adults and children) spent a marvelous week at Villa Zambonina in June. The Villa and grounds are absolutely stunning. We all enjoyed finding quiet places to read and relax, swimming in the pool and cooking together! The kitchen is spectacular, the nearby supermarket has everything and the local produce is wonderful. It is the perfect location for day trips to wineries and towns (Lake Garda, Vincenza, Soave, Verona -to name a few). Marina and her staff met all of our needs and more. We could not have anticipated a better vacation and cannot wait to return.

Thank you Villa Zambonina for the absolutely perfect wedding. We are forever grateful for Marina’s attention to detail and calm expertise in helping us put together our special day from thousands of miles away. The whole event went off without a hitch. From start to finish Marina helped us coordinate every aspect of our wedding from afar. From flowers, to catering, our cake and music. Not to mention coordinating our priest and the use of the Villa’s stunning chapel which she did impecably as well. She put our minds at ease on arrival and there they stayed throughout our time at the Villa. Julia was wonderful meeting every need and providing everything from explanations, directions, delicious meals, cleaning and help whenever needed. She was just lovely. Franco too was perfect in his assistance. We could always count on him for directions or answers to any questions. His wonderful musical group was professional and ideal for our celebration. His ensemble provided a fun and talented group of musicians that were a very welcome part of our day. It would not have been the same without them. The Villa itself was absolutely stunning. Rich in history and architecture. It provided the perfect setting for our wedding day as well as our stay all week with our guests. The grounds were lovely. The pool was gorgeous and the chapel was ideal for our ceremony. We are eternally thankful for our stay and so happy we chose to have our wedding at Villa Zambonina. It will live on in our memories and photos as one of the the happiest and most lovely day in our lives.

I have been to London, Paris and Rome but nothing compares to our staying in Verona! We celebrated my birthday and I wish I was 10 so I could repeat the experience! This villa is fantastic, amazing... just gorgeous. We have loved all the hill towns and the castle. We have shopped in Verona and went to the opera; but mostly we have just enjoyed our wonderful carefree and fun days in Villa Zambonina. What a magnificent villa. What a fantastic cook Julia is! The Villa was absolutely stunning and our wedding was even more special than we could ever have imagined. We couldn’t have asked for more, from the stunning grounds and lovely pool area which are perfectly maintained, the perfectly appointed bedrooms, the extra services we had requested to the maintenance team and the maids who were excellent from start to finish. The owner of the Villa (Marina) could also not have been more helpful from checking us in personally, to booking transfers for us and providing such an amazing experience. We cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return in the future and we highly recommend a stay here be it a special occasion or family holiday. Thank you

Tuscany now and more knows how to find exceptional villas. The indications are always accurate and complete and the staff available quickly.
The problem we encountered early in the rental was solved efficiently and quickly.

What an incredible experience. The villa was gorgeous. Marina, Julia and Franco were exceptional in their care and attention to detail for our wedding. They made our stay perfect.
